This quirky property development company is seeking a proactive and motivated Lettings Negotiator to join their diverse team in the city centre, focusing on properties and developments across the Yorkshire region.
As Lettings Negotiator, you will play a pivotal role in liaising with tenants conducting move ins and outs, carrying out viewings and facilitate the successful let of homes across the Northwest of England.
The package
- £30k - £35k OTE (uncapped), £24k basic salary
- 36 hours per week, including weekends
- Tuesday Friday: 09:30-18:00, Saturday: 11:00-18:00

The role
- Respond to lettings enquiries quickly and efficiently, in a polite and informative manner.
- Conduct viewings on available homes with potential tenants.
- Maintain excellent communication and customer service levels.
- Ensure Key & Fob stocks are organised and maintained.
- Qualify potential customers and ensure that all suitable homes are considered.
- Accompany potential tenants on viewings of residential properties.
- Ensure that details of all visitors and enquiries are logged and followed up.
- Work as part of the team to deliver rentals targets.
- Provide support to lettings team when required.
- Take responsibility for maintaining long and good relationships with customers, clients, and agents with a view to generating more loyalty business.
- Know your market Get out and around the competition, and compile intel regularly.
- Identify potential acquisition opportunities for clients.
- Assist in disposals of other assets such as parking bays and storage units.
- Focus on sales disposals with occasional work at other regions depending on business needs.
The person
- Proven experience in a residential lettings and/or sales environment.
- Experience of working to and meeting targets.
- Full driving license and means of transport.
- Approachable with great customer care and communication skills - both written and oral.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and to use your initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills, specifically in using Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Enthusiastic and flexible with an interest in both sales and lettings. If your strengths are in one area, they will collaborate with you to develop your knowledge across the two disciplines (lettings predominantly and some residential sales)
- An understanding of shared ownership and shared equity (desirable)
- Experience negotiating sales (desirable)
